One question to a people who traded their Creator for a statue.
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ الْخَالِقِينَ
His story
Ilyas was one of the messengers 37:123. His people worshipped an idol called Ba'l. He asked them: "Will you not fear Allah? Do you call on Ba'l and leave the best of creators, Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 37:124-126.
They denied him, except Allah's sincere servants 37:127-128. Allah left praise for him among later generations: "Peace be upon Ilyas" 37:130.

The question
Ilyas was sent to a people who worshipped an idol called Ba'l. He asked them: "Will you not fear Allah? Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators, Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" They denied him, and Allah left for him praise among later generations: "Peace be upon Ilyas."
What he did when…
Ilyas did not need a long speech. He asked his people one clear question: "Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators?" Standing alone, a single honest question can be a whole message.
