Musa's anger was real, and the Quran does not hide it. He came back to find his people worshipping a calf, threw down the tablets and grabbed his brother by the head. Then he calmed down, picked the tablets back up, and prayed: "My Lord, forgive me and my brother." He asked forgiveness for himself first.
His whole storyWhen you are angry
Anger is human. Every prophet who felt it shows us the same thing: what you do in the next minute is what counts.
When Musa threw down the tablets and seized him, Harun explained: "The people overpowered me and nearly killed me. Do not let my enemies rejoice over me." Someone else's anger does not have to become your anger. A calm answer cooled it.
His whole storyHis mistake was walking out on his people in frustration. And they believed after he left. Our Prophet ﷺ was told not to be like him in that moment: "Be patient for the decision of your Lord." Do not give up on people too early.
